Hello

I'm Emma, founder of Emma Walker Osteopathy. I am a qualified and registered Osteopath with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC).

Often we feel we have to put up with our aches and pains, because of our jobs, activities or age, but Osteopathy can help you live pain free and move better.  So if your training for that next race or even marathon, lifting your kids or grandkids, want to join that dance class or get through the working day without pain, then Osteopathy is for you.

I take a holistic approach to healthcare, looking at how your body moves, functions, and heals as a whole. You may be dealing with back pain, tight shoulders, sports injuries, tendinopathy, osteoarthritis, plantar fasciopathy or everyday aches and strains. I use gentle, hands-on techniques to relieve pain, improve mobility, and support your body’s natural ability to recover.

Every treatment is tailored to your needs. I’ll take the time to listen, understand what’s going on, and work with you to get you back to doing what you love.

If you're unsure whether osteopathy is right for you, feel free to reach out—I’m always happy to have a chat and answer any questions.

I hold a First Class Honours degree in Osteopathy (BOst Hons) gained from the University of Derby, through four years of clinically focused hands on training.  I hold a Diploma in Soft Tissue Manipulation and a Remedial Massage Diploma, along with completing further training in harmonics, which is a oscillatory, mobilisation technique of the joints and soft tissues. â€‹â€‹

I am based at Oak Osteo, King Edward Street, Ashbourne, DE6 1BW.
